Dads, come help welcome the teachers back: Work days on Aug 18th and 19th

"Welcome" ChalkboardThe Butler Dads Club will be welcoming the teachers back in typical Dads Club fashion—we’ll be helping them get their classrooms in order and handling their “Honey-Do” lists for each grade area.

There are a few white boards that need installing and tons of new books that need to be moved. So bring your tools. Older kids are welcome to help too.

Date: Thursday, August 18th and Friday, August 19th
Time: 8:30 to whenever (show up when you can and leave when you need to)

Work day scheduled for Sunday April 3rd, 11am

Shovel! The Butler Dads Club is meeting up at school on Sunday April 3rd at 11am for our Spring workday.   Here are some of the things we will try to tackle.

  • rebuild part of the garden fence and paint
  • more mowing and weeding
  • secure the brick pile
  • if we have the dads we may place the rest of the bricks in the garden
  • check all the of school benches and repair and paint if needed

If you can help out on Sunday, please leave a comment below to signup. Sorry to be meeting on a Sunday, but during spring with soccer and baseball going on, Saturdays are impossible to schedule for most folks.

Workday in the Garden phase II, Sunday October 17th, 1–3pm

It is time to finish what we started. It was a little too wet to get much done back on our last work day. So, we are planning another work day in the school garden for Sunday, October 17th from 1 to 3pm. If you can help, please show up and meet at the garden located directly behind the school.

All dads should bring gloves and a lopper, rake, shovel, weed wacker or whatever garden tools you can. We will need a tiller if someone could signup for that (Roland?).

Please signup by using our signup form here.
