Butler Exemplary Tailgate Party at AISD

This Thursday! Oct. 21st, 5:30–7:30

Butler’s Dads Club and PTA invite the Butler family to join us Thursday for a Tailgate Party that will honor and thank our students and teachers for their EXEMPLARY work on the TAKS test last year.

Free Food, Music and Fun

A free Buck’n’loons chicken sandwich dinner will be served from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Then, teachers will line up and travel down a balloon-lined tunnel, surrounded by cheering parents and students!

The teachers will be introduced by Mrs. Coulter before the School Board meeting begins and will be honored by us and the AISD Administrators. After this ceremony, everyone will then return to the grassy area for a cobbler and ice cream dessert.

Please make plans to join us and honor our outstanding teachers and students.

Workday in the Garden phase II, Sunday October 17th, 1–3pm

It is time to finish what we started. It was a little too wet to get much done back on our last work day. So, we are planning another work day in the school garden for Sunday, October 17th from 1 to 3pm. If you can help, please show up and meet at the garden located directly behind the school.

All dads should bring gloves and a lopper, rake, shovel, weed wacker or whatever garden tools you can. We will need a tiller if someone could signup for that (Roland?).

Please signup by using our signup form here.

Here is a list of those that have signed up:
